  They claim to be having a "Huge sale, everything must go." When you walk in, they claim things are 40-50% off, crazy discounts. However, everything is marked up 40-50%. They had a washer dryer set they had as their list price of $2100 each, "but we will sell to you for 1169 each, what a deal." Looked it up on google. Low and behold, said washer and dryer set just happens to be listed for sale at Best Buy for $1169 each. They are scamming people. I mentioned it to the sales person and he admitted all of the prices were marked up by this "outside agency" for this big sale. What they are doing is illegal, and JCPenney got in trouble for the same stuff.
